Conotex Systems is currently hiring low voltage fiber and copper cabling technicians, as well as high voltage license journeyman electricians for Texas prison installation project. Smaller sites takes about 3 weeks to complete, medium sites takes about 1 month to complete, and bigger sites takes about 6 weeks to complete. Travel, lodging and per diem is included!

Available Positions:
• For every prison we will be hiring for the following positions:
– 2 Low Voltage Cabling Technicians
– 1 Fiber Expert Technician
– 1 High Voltage Electrical (License Journeyman)
Start Date:
• 3rd week of June
Schedule:
• 8:00 am – 6:00 pm local time (Typically 10-hour days)
– One hour paid check-in
– One hour paid check-out
– Each prison will take minimum of 3 weeks to complete
Pay Rate:
• Low Voltage Cabling Technicians
– $25-$40/HR (Must know how to terminate copper)
 Based on previous experience

• Low Voltage Fiber Expert Technicians
– $30-$50/HR (Must know how to terminate fiber)
 Based on previous experience

• Electrical Technicians (Electricians)
– $45-$60/HR (must be licensed)
 Based on previous experience

Scope of Work:
• Conotex Systems is contracted to install APs and tablets in prisons in the States of Texas.

Electricians: Conduit and 120V outlets
 Being able to professionally bend conduit piping is a big plus

Cabling Technicians: Low voltage, cable pulls, conduit cabling, terminations, and testing.
 6 hours per completed cable run including the conduit, termination, labeling, etc.
• Multiple cable runs required for each prison

Fiber Expert Technicians: fiber pulling terminations and testing.
 20 hours for a team of fiber technicians to complete a 300-foot-long fiber run
• Multiple fiber runs required for each prison
• Being able to professionally bend conduit piping is a big plus

In order to be allowed onsite for this project, you MUST fill out the pre-requirement background paperwork.
