DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Approach the job daily with a safety-first mentality while always operating truck/trailer safely and lawfully
● Moves trucks and trailers for receiving when needed
● Moves trucks and trailers as needed to complete the loading process
● Arranges trucks and trailers on the yard in an orderly and efficient manner
● Deliver and pick up debris trailers, portable toilets, and returnable materials as directed by management from job sites in varying locations around Guardian’s service area
● Make frequent drops at area dumps
● Ability to make determinations of recyclable, versus non-recyclable materials to ensure proper disposal of job site waste
● Safe operation of equipment provided to safely haul loads (for example, forklift, dock plates or load bars and straps)
● Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
● Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business
● Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
● Warehouse duties including receiving, sorting, and picking material
QUALIFICATIONS:
● 3+ years of experience in a driving role with 3 years clean driving record- copy of driving record required
● Valid driver’s license or higher
● Current Forklift Certification
● OSHA 10 and First Aid Certification is a plus
● Experience in roofing (or other construction fields) would be valuable
● Ability to manage high volume workload with competing and changing priorities
● Intermediate level of computer proficiency
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
● Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. at times
● Must be able to drive up to 100 miles per day
● Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
