Ocean Beauty Seafoods Monroe Cold Smoke Facility is in search of full-time Sanitation Person to work our night shift!
We are producers and purveyors of healthy seafood products. Our packing lines are running at full capacity. We need a Sanitation person to help us maintain the cleanliness of our plant and surrounding area! This is a full time job with benefits.
This is a perfect position for someone that prefers to work nights!
Job Duties:
Perform nightly sanitation on all production equipment, fillet tables, scales, lines, floors, walls, storage areas, totes, gondolas, containers, and product contact surfaces using pressure water hoses
Need to remove guards and other processing components for sanitizing using lock out tag our procedures
Empty all garbage containers in the plant
Maintain an accurate inventory on cleaning supplies
Perform other clean up duties, such as washing windows, scrubbing walls and floor in cooler
Requirements:
Operate a forklift
We will train you how to operate an electric pallet jack if you do not have experience.
Need to be able to lift up to 75 lbs. with routine lifting of 25 lbs. Overtime required as needed depending on production demands.

Bonus Program:
After 90 days of employment – $300 bonus after an employee is here 90 days
After 120 days of employment – Additional $300 bonus
There is also a $500 bonus for successful referrals after they’ve completed 90 days
Work is performed in the plant. Conditions can be noisy, wet and cold. We supply rain gear, ear and eye protection, it is up to you supply your own waterproof boots.
All hired candidates will be drug tested and have background checks prior to employment.
